my neighbor that has lived beside me for 20 years has not moved his vehicle since wednesday.
he has always gone to work and most of the time is gone for days or weeks at a time.he is a great dude,and is probably 50? and severely overweight (maybe 350 lbs) he had heart surgery a year or so ago.he has no family or friends that i know of as i have never seen anyone come and visit in the 20 years,and we just chit chat every once in awhile about things that go on in neighborhood.
he gives me panthers tickets sometimes,since he is a season ticket holder and is so big he can't fit in the seat much less walk to the seat.i have hooked him up over the years with people that work on air conditioners and other things around the house.i consider us acquaintances,not friends but cordial when we see each other outside.he lived beside me when the FBI raided my house 12 years ago and never questioned me once about it,just a good guy that minds his own business..
well my problem is this... i think he is dead in his house.i have peaked in his mailbox the last few days and see that he has not picked up his mail.i really thought maybe his work would call the police.
my question is should i call the police? and if i do what do i say?will he think i am a busybody if they come out?if they do come out and he happens to just be out of town they are going to break into his house and then i will look like a fool. i thought about ringing his doorbell,but it is late..
